Makeup for me was never something I had envisioned as a child or even teenager as my university subject back in those days I thought I was going to be a Police officer or a belly dancer the possibility was rather random. Makeup became a interest like it usually does when assets started developing; back in school I loved art and painting and carried down the creative path route doing a art foundation which subsequently got me on to the course I'm now studying at Solent. Makeup and Hair design. Not only could I be creative but I could spend hours a week producing work doing something I love doing, applying makeup. Changing the face. Within this blog I'll be honest and talk about the workload and what differences or similarities I expected at the start of the course itself. Working with partners and learning the trade. Writing and editing was also a huge part of the course; writings fun I like to spill out what I'm thinking or creating something almost physically from description; Learning photoshop is extremely important and definitely a key class to attend. I remember in a welcome talk from some third years they mentioned how key attending photoshop class was. I can't wait for class to start this year is extremely important as it counts towards the final grade. Exciting and terrifying.
